Duties

The appointee will assist the project leader in the research project - “Management and control of risks in large infrastructure projects using Blockchain technologies”.  He/She will be required to involve in research and development works and produce academic publications.

Qualifications

Applicants for the Research Associate post should have a masters degree or a good honours degree in Construction Engineering and Management, Civil Engineering, Building Engineering, Computer Science, Management Science or a related discipline with at least three years of research / relevant work experience.

Applicants for the Research Assistant post should have an honours degree in the afore-mentioned disciplines or an equivalent qualification.

Applicants should also:

(a)  have a strong interest in research on construction project management with application of information technologies;

(b)  have good knowledge of qualitative and quantitative data analysis;

(c)  have a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese; and

(d)  be mature and competent to work independently. 

Preference will be given to those with research experience in construction / project / risk management and paper publication records in the relevant fields.
