Job Description

• Advise at a strategic level at the project conception stage, including providing advice on the different approaches that can be adopted in order to successfully achieve the clients overall objectives

• Leading the establishment of the overall success criteria for the project, including time, cost, technical and performance parameters

• Plan for and the ongoing management of quality, safety, health and environment issues

• Establish effective project governance, processes and systems to be utilised throughout project

• Project plan, including ensuring the production of the detailed project plan

• Advise upon the procurement of resources

• Lead and facilitate the overall cross-functional project team

• Monitor and apply performance management techniques, including the use of KPIs to improve project performance

• Manage the change control process

• Monitor and advise upon project finances

• Manage the flow of project information between the team and the client, through regular meetings and written communications

• Ensure the production of formal project progress and other reports

• Take a leading role in interfacing with the client and other consultants, at all project stages

• Take responsibility for developing new business opportunities with existing and new Turner & Townsend clients

• Identify and act upon cross-selling opportunities

Qualifications

• Degree qualifications in construction, project management or similar function

• Professional accreditations and associations such as PMI, HKIS, RICS, etc (preferred)

• Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience in a similar role

• Must have experience in working on retail banking projects locally.

• Have worked on banking projects and programmes in Hong Kong from feasibility to successful handover

• Have worked on behalf of and represented international clients (preferably financial institutions)

• A team player who is hands-on and meticulous in his/her work

• Possess excellent communication and people handling skills

• Possess initiative and able to work independently

• Able to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment

• Experience working in MNC companies will be an advantage, ability to thrive in a challenging and fast-paced environment

• Meticulous, organized, detail oriented with strong numerical and analytical skills

• Fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese.
