Hong Kong Institute of Educational Research Project Co-ordinator II
We are looking for motivated individuals with a passion for education and a strong interest in project co-ordination and school support programmes to join our team.
The appointee will be assigned to the Quality School Improvement Project (QSIP), an organisation established under the Hong Kong Institute of Educational Research (HKIER) in 1998. QSIP aims to enhance the quality of education for students, promote teacher professional development, and support comprehensive school improvement through the provision of professional support programmes across various themes. The appointee will be responsible for (a) managing professional support programmes under QSIP, including planning, promotion, and organisation of school-based, school-cluster, and territory-wide activities; (b) providing administrative support to QSIPs operations; (c) liaising with internal and external partners; (d) assisting in the preparation of communication materials and project deliverables; and (e) performing other duties as assigned.
Applicants should have (i) a Bachelors degree; (ii) at least 2 years work experience, preferably in project management; (iii) an effective command of spoken and written English and Chinese; (iv) proficiency in MS Office applications; (v) a self-motivated and detail-oriented attitude; and (vi) strong problem-solving skills, and (vii) the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a multi-tasking environment. Hands-on experience with image and video editing software (e.g. Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro), HTML, and website content management systems (CMS) will be advantageous.
Appointment will initially be made on a contract basis for up to 2 years, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
