Business Program Manager - Fintech Lending Platform

About the Role

Thakral One is seeking a Business Program Manager to lead the business-side delivery of a high-impact fintech lending platform implementation for a client in Indonesia. The role will focus on defining target operating models (TOM), setting up standard operating procedures (SOPs), and orchestrating cross-functional alignment between technical and business teams. This is not a technical PM role-were looking for someone with deep experience in lending operations, fintech or digital banking, and strong exposure to platform-driven change.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end business program management for the implementation of a fintech lending platform.
• Define and drive the Target Operating Model (TOM) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in alignment with business and regulatory needs.
• Work closely with internal and external stakeholders across product, operations, compliance, and technology teams to ensure smooth execution.
• Act as the key bridge between business users and the technical implementation teams to ensure alignment of deliverables and requirements.
• Oversee change management and ensure readiness of business teams to adopt the new platform.
• Facilitate workshops, define milestones, manage issues/risks, and track overall business delivery.
• Provide input into long-term operational support (BAU) strategies post-implementation.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 10 years experience in project or program management, with at least 5 years in fintech or lending operations.
• Proven experience defining SOPs, TOMs, and business process frameworks within financial services or digital banking.
• Deep knowledge of the end-to-end lending lifecycle, from origination to collections.
• Exceptional ability to engage with business executives, product owners, and technical teams to drive alignment and outcomes.
• Demonstrated experience working on platform implementation or large-scale business transformations.
• Regional experience (SEA, Indonesia) is a strong plus.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to Indonesia as needed.

• Job Type: Contract (6-12 months), extendible
