Product Manager, Wealth Management

Responsibilities:

Product Life-cycle Management

  • Oversee new products development life-cycle (e.g., fixed income, quantitative hedging, FOF) with profit distribution mechanisms compliant with Asset Management New Regulations

  • Responsible for building product shelf systems, which align product lines with client risk tiers and ensure compliance with underlying asset transparency checks

  • Monitor product performance in tracking AUM fluctuations, benchmark deviations, and client complaint rates

  • Drive product iterations in optimize various features based on client subscription/redemption behavior data

Sales & Client Services

  • Develop marketing strategies in creating product comparison matrices and client-tailored pitch templates

  • Involve in building smart tools in designing product screening engines for automated portfolio recommendations (by age, assets, investment goals)

  • Collaborate with research teams to produce Quarterly Asset Allocation Reports and trading strategies

  • lead a team to support client roadshows in demonstrating product mechanics to private banking clients

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Review marketing materials and monitor sales suitability, which ensure client risk assessments align with product risk levels

Requirements:

  •     Degree Holder or above from 985/221 or QS Top 50 Universities (Finance / Investment relateddiscipline are highly preferred)

  •     Current SFC Type 9 licensed person; Holder with CFA/FRM/CFP is preferred

  •     Minimum 3 years experience in banking wealth management subsidiaries/ asset management roles, with leading experience in designing products exceeding RMB 1 billion in scale

  •     Deep knowledge of asset management regulatory policies

  •     Proficiency in Wind/Python for independent product attribution analysis

  •     Sales-oriented mindset and resilience under pressure
