PB Negotiator

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and negotiate independently legal documentation relating to OTC derivatives, securities lending, listed derivatives, and electronic trading.

Act as primary point of contact with clients /their counsel and our internal stakeholders for all negotiations in the legal documentation.

Work closely with internal stakeholders via escalation of deviated terms identified during negotiation of documentation, collaboration with client onboarding support team.

Interact with clients in connection with new industry rules and regulations.

Review and analyze legal constitutional documentation/ legal opinions to verify capacity and authority.

Participate in global or local initiatives and documentation remediation addressing on regulatory updates and requirements imposed by regulators.

Assist in the development and project management of policies, procedures and system enhancement relating to the covered areas.

Qualifications

Holder of legal qualification in a common law jurisdiction is a plus.

5+ years experience in negotiating securities lending, listed derivatives and electronic trading in corporate law firm or financial institution.

Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices in OC derivatives, securities lending, listed derivatives, and electronic trading.

Ability to identify; resolve issues and handle escalation from the team independently.

Ability to multi-task and operate in a dynamic environment.

Exceptional organizational and conflict resolution skills.
