Operation Supervisor (Marketing) (Contract)

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the estimation of cost and material quantities required for the exhibition booths and events
• Calculate cost estimates for both internal & external projects
• Check stand materials requested by contractors and monitor the production progress
• Arrange production checking at contractors premises
• Arrange transportation and other logistics support
• Monitor on-site set-up and dismantling of booths and evaluate contractors performance
• Manage each job from costing, production, execution and acceptance according to schedule and specifications
• Finalize and compare jobs actual costs with the corresponding jobs estimates and prepare jobs variance reports with explanations for major discrepancies

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years relevant working experience
• Hands-on experience in exhibition contracting or operation services
• Self-motivated, mature and able to work under pressure
• Good communication and negotiation skills with ability to handle and supervise contractors
• Knowledge on computer softwares (e.g. AutoCAD, Microstation, Bentley) preferred
• 5.5 working days per week. Willing to work long hours and on public holidays
• Possession of Construction Industry Safety card issued by endorsed institutions of HKSAR preferred
• Workplace in Tseung Kwan O Logistics Centre [Shuttle bus service will be provided from Tiu Keng Leng MTR Station]

Remuneration and Benefits:

The successful candidate will be appointed on a fixed-term contract basis, renewable subject to operational needs. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
