Fund Operations Specialist

Key Responsibilities
1. Trade Processing and Settlement: Assist in the uploading and reconciliation of trades (global listed equities), ensuring accurate and timely settlement activities. Collaborate closely with brokers and custodians.
2. NAV Reports: Review and analyse monthly NAV reports to ensure high accuracy and timely reporting.
3. Client Onboarding: Manage the onboarding process for new clients by managing account setup and documentation to cultivate strong relationships from the start.
4. Compliance Checks: Conduct regular compliance assessments to maintain regulatory standards and ensure adherence to best practices.
5. Database Maintenance: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of internal databases and systems.
6. Investment Reporting: Prepare monthly and quarterly investor reports, and conduct data analysis to drive continuous improvement.
7. Automation Initiatives: Implement automated solutions for operational tasks to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
8. Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations and the effective resolution of issues.
9. Industry Awareness: Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and operational best practices to support our long-term investment strategy.
Ideal Candidate Profile
We are seeking a candidate who possesses the following qualifications and skills:
· Educational Background: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field;
· Experience: 2 - 3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in asset management or family office.
· Accounting Proficiency: Demonstrates a solid foundational understanding of accounting principles and practices;
· Asset Management Insight: A comprehensive understanding of asset management operations, including trade lifecycle, settlement processes, and compliance requirements;
· Investor Relations: Experience in managing investor relationships is a PLUS;
· Analytical Skills: Demonstrates exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail;
· Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Excel, Bloomberg, and trade order management systems;
· Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders;
· Resilience: The ability to thrive under pressure, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment; and
· Language Proficiency: Fluency in both English and Cantonese is essential.
