Brief Job Overview:

As an Economics and Business Studies Teacher at one of our secondary schools, you will have the unique opportunity to display your dynamism by teaching both subjects across multiple age groups and ability levels, ranging from IGCSE (Year 10 and 11) to IB (Year 12 and 13) at both Standard and Higher Level. Our Economics and Business Studies courses are extremely popular among students and as a teacher in this subject matter, you will be responsible for driving and maintaining academic excellence. As part of the Individual and Societies Faculty, you will be required to collaborate with colleagues to design and curate engaging lesson plans and construct an enriching learning environment for our students.

General Requirements

Bachelors degree in Education or a Bachelors degree in any subject with a Postgraduate

Certificate/Diploma in Education (PGCE/PGDE)

*iPGCE (assessment only) is not eligible for Teacher Registration status by the Hong Kong Education Bureau

An understanding of the MYP and the key underpinnings of the curriculum frameworks is advantageous

Newly qualified teachers or teaching experience within a recognised educational institute
