Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join our dynamic team in Hong Kong, collaborating with stakeholders to deliver impactful data solutions. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge BI tools, cloud platforms, and advanced analytics, while fostering data literacy and driving actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Stakeholders: Partner with business teams to analyze requirements, conduct feasibility studies, and develop end-to-end data solutions using modern BI and data platforms.

• Design and Deliver Visualizations: Create impactful dashboards and paginated reports using Power BI and SSRS, leveraging data storytelling to provide actionable insights.

• Develop Data Infrastructure: Build and maintain data warehouse architectures, ETL workflows, and robust data models to support analytics.

• Ensure Quality and Testing: Perform unit, integration, and performance testing and produce technical documentation to ensure reliable analytics delivery.

• Monitor Data Pipelines: Oversee data pipeline operations to maintain data quality and consistency across platforms.

• Promote Data Literacy: Provide user training and support to enhance data literacy across the organization.

• Support AI/ML Initiatives: Contribute to integrating AI and machine learning into advanced analytics workflows.

• Explore Cloud Technologies: Experiment with Azure data platforms and Microsoft Fabric to drive innovation in data solutions.

• Cross-Regional Collaboration: Communicate effectively with teams in Hong Kong and Mainland China to ensure seamless project delivery.

Key Requirements:

• Education: Bachelors degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.

• Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in data analysis, BI development, or data warehousing.

• Core Technical Skills:

  • Expertise in MS Power BI (Visualization design and DAX).

  • Proficiency in SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).

  • Strong skills in MS T-SQL programming and Stored Procedures.

  • Knowledge of data warehouse methodologies and data modeling.

  • Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).

• Preferred Skills (Extra):

  • Familiarity with Azure SQL, Synapse, or Data Factory.

  • Understanding of Microsoft Fabric (e.g., Lakehouse, OneLake, Pipelines).

  • Experience with Python or C# scripting.

  • Knowledge of RESTful API integration.

  • Exposure to AI/ML concepts and applications.

• Communication Skills: Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese, with strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
