Our client is seeking an Assistant Vice President, IT Services Management to join their team!

What youll be doing?
  • Change Management Leadership: Host daily IT Operations problem/change review meetings, approve Change Requests, and monitor their completion, ensuring smooth IT operations.

  • Policy and Training: Keep IT policies and procedures updated, and conduct annual user training to maintain best practices across the organization.

  • Incident Management: Oversee IT Incident and Event Management processes, from initiation to closure, adhering to established policies and procedures.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Host monthly incident/problem review meetings with IT Operations, Development, and Governance teams to drive continuous improvement.

  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare monthly management reports, providing insights and recommendations for IT service optimization.

Who are they looking for?
  • Educational Background: A Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or an equivalent field, demonstrating a strong foundation in IT principles.

  • Industry Experience: At least 5 years of relevant experience in IT Services Management within Banking or Financial Institutions, bringing valuable sector-specific knowledge.

  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in IT Infrastructure, Database, System, and Network concepts, enabling comprehensive understanding of IT ecosystems.

  • Project Management Skills: Experience in Project Management and ITIL methodologies is highly valued, enhancing your ability to lead and implement best practices.

  • Personal Attributes: Detail-oriented problem-solver with excellent organizational skills, high integrity, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.

  • Leadership Qualities: Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, capable of fostering teamwork and driving results across diverse groups.
