Associate Sourcing Manager - Frequent Travel to Sri Lanka
Job Responsibilities:
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with vendors in Sri Lanka to implement regional sourcing strategies while ensuring that companys global apparel sourcing goals are clearly communicated and met.
Oversee Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Vendor Action Plans to achieve Vendor Scorecard results that exceed targets set by Strategic Sourcing.
Support the allocation strategy for vendors and suppliers for products produced in APAC regions. Collaborate with key stakeholders, including Development, Design, Technical, Management, and Sourcing teams.
Manage daily vendor interactions and track production workflows. Serve as the liaison between the Apparel Operations Team (AOM) and Supply Planning Operations (SPO) to ensure compliance with company standards, quality processes, specific product criteria, and shipping requirements.
Identify and address process and capability gaps with vendors, collaborating with cross-functional teams as necessary.
Work closely with regional Quality Control (QC) teams to address and resolve any quality issues that arise from the vendors in Sri Lanka.
Partner with cross-functional teams and the GTM Calendar team to validate all critical information related to Sri Lanka vendor activities and timelines, ensuring suppliers are well-informed.
Lead or participate in cross-functional projects aimed at driving continuous improvement.
Assist in projects designed to enhance business operations from both company and factory perspectives, focusing on cost efficiency, FCA, and landed costs.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Manufacturing, Textiles, Apparel Merchandising, or Business Administration is preferred.
Experience in managing off-shore manufacturers, especially in Sri Lanka
Familiarity with lifestyle and functional apparel, particularly jackets, outerwear, pants, and printing techniques.
Understanding of export and import regulations, including customs tariff classifications and duty rates.
Strong project management, negotiation, and communication skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proven ability to establish relationships with key business partners and cross-functional teams.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, goal-oriented, and time-sensitive environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint).
Willingness to travel to Sri Lanka as required.
