Assistant Manager / Manager (Server Administration)

Responsibilities

  • Perform OS system administration including system setup and backup, software installation, patch upgrade and troubleshooting.
  • Manage I.T. projects, study and analysis requirements, provide technical advice, implement new system changes and coordinate project activities
  • Support IT system documentation and IT operation flow improvement.
  • Other ad-hoc assignments as assigned by Supervisor

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science / Information System, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of in-house IT working experience.
  • Knowledge and experience focusing on one of the areas:
  • Hand-on experiences on Linux, Kubernetes/Rancher, AliCloud/AWS, VMware, Ansible and Terraform
  • Knowledge in DevOps is highly preferable
  • Holder of RHCE/ MCSE/Cloud certification is highly preferable
  • Hand-on experiences on Windows, AliCloud/AWS, VMware and SAN Storage, Veeam Backup, Microsoft 365
  • Knowledge in PowerShell and WinRM is highly preferable
  • Fluency in written and spoken English, Chinese and Mandarin.
  • Self-motivated, dynamics, enthusiastic, detail-minded, and responsible.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skill. A team player.
