Assistant Manager

Job Responsibilities:

• Liaise with business partners to explore new business opportunities and services for expanding Channel Partnership, reporting to team lead of Retail Business & Partnership 

• Responsible for the Business Development, includes Channel Partners, Merchants and User activation to expand Octopus online payment

• Manage projects, including liaison with internal and external parties, project execution and monitoring

• Keep updated on regulatory requirements and work closely with relevant internal and external parties to ensure the product and services are in compliance with the requirements

• Collect market information and provide update to management on the product trend and development for online and mobile service

• Devise product plans/ explore potential applications to bring additional revenue streams for long term business growth

• Prepare business cases and financial analysis for new business initiatives

• Handle ad-hoc projects as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in business studies, Marketing, IT, Computer or related subjects

• Minimum of 4 years experience in project or product management disciplines

• Entrepreneurship mindset and experience in building business / product from Zero to One is a plus

• Experience in a fintech / loyalty program / internet start-up companies will be an advantage

• Data driven mentality which can measure & monitor the progress & achievement of pre-set KPI & objectives 

• Self-motivated, result-oriented and attention to details

• Good team player and possess good interpersonal skills

• Well spoken and written in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
