Accounting Manager (Team Lead) - International Law Firm

About the role

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Accounting Manager to join a prestigious international law firm in a team lead position. Reporting to the CFO/FC, you will be responsible for overseeing the accounting operations for this dynamic organisation. This is a full-time, permanent position based in Central Central and Western District.

What youll be doing

• Manage a small team of accounting officers and oversee all aspects of the accounting function, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger and financial reporting

• Ensure the timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements

• Collaborate with the Financial Controller to identify and implement process improvements and efficiencies

• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support strategic decision-making

• Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, laws and regulations

• Mentor and develop the accounting team, fostering a positive and productive work environment

What were looking for

• 8+ years of experience in a similar Accounting Manager or Team Lead role, preferably within a professional services or law firm environment

• Strong problem-solving, decision-making and process improvement skills

• Superb communication and interpersonal abilities, with the confidence to liaise with stakeholders at all levels

• Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
