Trims Manager (Product Development)

Description
- Drive product development initiatives that align with client requirements, brand identity, and evolving market trends.
- Oversee quality assurance processes throughout the manufacturing cycle, ensuring adherence to internal and external standards.
- Work closely with procurement and supply chain teams to streamline operations and optimise resource utilisation.
- Conduct regular audits, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions to uphold product integrity.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure consistent quality and timely delivery.
- Develop and execute strategies to enhance production efficiency, reduce defects, and support continuous improvement.
- Provide regular updates on quality metrics, development progress, and key initiatives to senior leadership.
- Mentor and train team members on quality standards, best practices, and continuous improvement methodologies.
Profile
- Bachelors degree or above in Product Development, Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in product development and quality management, preferably within branding, packaging, fashion accessories, or consumer goods sectors.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control systems, and product lifecycle management.
- Proficient in data analysis and reporting tools to monitor quality metrics and drive continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects and manage timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers.
- Proven track record in identifying root causes and implementing effective corrective actions.
- Fluent in English; additional language skills (e.g., Mandarin, English) are a plus depending on supplier base.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required for supplier visits and quality audits
