Senior Officer, Branch Operations (Relief Team)
Responsibilities:Assist in overseeing counter services and back office administration to ensure proper service delivery.
Check and verify various transactions, clearing, and account matters.
Ensure accurate balances of counters and procedural propriety of all transactions.
Act as the secondary custodian for international money orders, traveller checks, gift checks, safe deposit boxes, and other transactional products.
Monitor service performance of counter service staff and provide assistance as needed.
Cultivate long-term relationships with customers and identify potential business opportunities for branch sales.
Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements:
Diploma holder or above.
Minimum 5 years of branch operations experience in counter transactions, cash management, account opening, and AML reporting, preferably with supervisory experience.
Passes in HKSI & IIQE licensing examinations preferred, but not mandatory.
Strong knowledge of branch operations with a good sense of compliance and control.
Excellent people and communication skills.
Detail-oriented and able to work independently under pressure.
Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese, including Putonghua.
Proficient in MS Office applications, including Chinese word processing.
