Senior Manager/Manager , Mortgage Operations

Job Purpose 

Perform checker role for mortgage loan operations and Title Deeds & Documents handling in compliance with the Banks policy and guidelines & / or regulatory requirement.

Key Responsibilities

• Check mortgage loan drawdown, repayment and all related loan administrative works and ensure all loan operation services meet agreed service pledge;

• Ensure all due transactions and tasks are completed for the day;

• Assist in updating procedure manual and work instructions of mortgage process;

• Ensure adherence to departmental guidelines and compliance of the Banks policy;

• Report all process deviations to supervisor with recommendations;

• Participate in projects on development of new products, automation / enhancement of related systems and enhance customer experience;

• Provide coaching and training to junior staff;

• Handle ad-hoc matters and tasks assigned by supervisor from time to time.

Requirements

• Degree holder in Business Administration or related disciplines;

• Minimum 5 years experience in loan operations;

• Sound knowledge on legal requirements for mortgage business;

• Sound knowledge in mortgage business and relevant daily operations;

• Proficient in MS Office;

• Prudent and attentive to details;

• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
