DevOps Engineer - Hong Kong - Crypto - Trading Platform 

My client is a leading global crypto firm seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their Trading Infrastructure team based in Hong Kong. Job Description: 

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure infrastructure for trading systems, including CI/CD pipelines, observability (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki), VPC/IAM configuration, and cost optimization in AWS environments.
  • Automate provisioning and configuration of EC2, databases (Aurora, PostgreSQL, ClickHouse), and containerized services using Ansible, Terraform, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
  • Support operational excellence by enforcing Git workflows, managing backups and disaster recovery, and exploring AI/LLM tools to enhance automation and diagnostics.

Job Requirements:

  • Experience & Expertise: 5+ years in DevOps or SRE roles supporting high-availability, real-time systems, with strong skills in AWS. 
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in infrastructure automation (Ansible, Terraform), scripting (Python, Bash), databases (ClickHouse, PostgreSQL), container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm), and observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana).
  • Security & Optimization: Knowledgeable in secure system design, IAM, encryption, resource optimization within budget constraints, and comfortable adopting AI tools for automation and diagnostics.
  • Language and Location: Candidate needs to be proficient in English and based in Hong Kong. No relocation is offered for this role.
