QA/QC QUALITY MANAGER - toys manufacturer (Vietnam)

• Tertiary education preferably in Engineering, Quality Management, Applied Science or a related disciplines is highly prefer
• 8-10 years quality experience, with substantial exposure to toy manufacturing, 
• Familiar with toys industry and international standards on quality management and product quality, 
• Proficient in English & Chinese; Mandarin is a plus
• Report to Operations Director
• Lead QA/QC Team in Vietnam factory
• Develop and implement quality strategies, plans and systems to ensure products to be in compliance with customer requirements and departmental performance against the agreed KPIs,
• Establish, implement and monitor quality systems to ensure compliance with appropriate international standards, 
• Support the manufacture in ensuring compliance with industry certification of compliance e.g. ICTI, 
• Act as the main point of contact on all quality matters, both internally and externally, 
• Lead and coordinate with respective departments to perform investigations of discrepancies, failures, complaints or any adverse issues and take necessary actions to resolve them and prevent their recurrence, when necessary, 
• Maintain adequate competent quality staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting and training employees, 
• Maintain adequate and capable equipment to perform the necessary tests in-house
• Maintain an awareness of new or proposed legislation, and international or industry standards that impact the business and communicate any necessary actions to management,  
• Support the Group in developing and enhancing its quality culture by implementing continual improvement programmes, 
• Develop and implement annual budget for quality management
• Work based in Vietnam factory (2 hours flight from Hong Kong)
• Hong Kong employment contract
• Annual leave : 16 days
