Occupational Therapist II Empower Neurodivergent Students Through Collaborative Therapy

Jockey Club Sarah Roe School (JCSRS) - Hong Kongs only English-medium special school for students aged 5-19 with neurodiverse needs and disabilities, including Autism Spectrum diagnoses and complex sensory needs - seeks an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist II to join our multidisciplinary team.

About the Role

Working under the guidance of an Occupational Therapist I, you will deliver evidence-based interventions to support students functional development and educational goals. Key responsibilities include:

• Direct Clinical Work: Assess needs, design IEP contributions, and provide individual/group therapies (e.g., sensory integration, adaptive equipment, classroom strategies).
• Collaboration: Partner with teachers, parents, and therapists to embed OT strategies into daily learning.
• Mentorship & Growth: Receive structured supervision from OTI to refine clinical skills and contribute to service development.
• Whole-School Impact: Attend IEP meetings, manage resources, and uphold best practices in neurodiversity-affirming care.

Ideal Candidate

You are a reflective practitioner with:

• Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Occupational Therapy and HK Supplementary Medical Professions Council (Part II) registration.
• Experience: Pediatric/school-based work with autism/sensory processing disorders; vocational training for teens (preferred).
• Skills:

1. Expertise in sensory integration and tiered intervention models.
2. Strong clinical judgment, teamwork, and adaptability.
3. Fluent English (written/spoken).

• Traits: Creative, proactive, and committed to student-centered outcomes.
