Network Engineer, In-house

About the Client

Our client is a well-known professional service group in Hong Kong and they are looking for a Network Engineer to join their internal IT team.

About the role

• Providing daily operation and L2/3 support to network and security equipment in the infrastructure
• Being responsible for operating, designing and developing networking and security solutions (e.g. Firewall, VPN, voice system, network/cybersecurity solutions)
• Being responsible for the network project planning, implementation and testing by coordinating with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Researching and improving network quality and reliability continuously
• Working closely with other teammates on troubleshooting and incident management

Requirements

• Bachelors degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline
• Minimum 3 years of working experience focusing on the networking sector
• Familiar with the operation of networking technologies, such as Cisco Router & Switch, VPN, LAN/WAN, Wifi, Firewall (FortiGate, Palo Alto), Network Security monitoring solutions, etc.
• Familiar with public cloud environments (AWS/Azure) is a plus
• With remote/field network support experience is a plus
• Holder of CCNA/CCNP is plus
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Good command of Chinese and English
