Your role Role & Context The Junior Sales Manager will join our Intermediary Sales Team in Asia ex Japan, focusing on expanding our market presence in China. The role will report to the Senior Sales Manager and play a pivotal role in advancing Pictet AMs business development efforts in China. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the China onshore and offshore business landscape and demonstrate a passion for cultivating client relationships. This position involves assisting in the formulation and execution of sales strategies to enhance our market presence and drive revenue growth. Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and implementation of sales strategies tailored to the China market.
- Build and maintain robust relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing customized solutions.
- Support the Senior Sales Manager in identifying new business opportunities and expanding the client base.
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes.
- Prepare and present sales proposals, reports, and forecasts to clients and management.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and compliance, to ensure alignment on sales initiatives.
- Attend industry events and networking opportunities to promote our services and establish connections.
- Monitor sales performance metrics and provide insights for continuous improvement.
- Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in sales, preferably within the financial services or investment industry.
- Strong understanding of the China onshore and offshore business framework and its implications for investors.
- Must possess excellent proficiency in Mandarin and be fluent in English, both spoken and written, to effectively communicate and collaborate in a bilingual environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced market environment.
