Insurance - Technical Lead

We are seeking a dedicated Technical Lead to join our insurance client, driving technological innovation and transformation in our processes and services.

Client Details

Our client is seeking an experienced IT leader to drive the design and implementation of cutting-edge digital solutions and innovation initiatives across the organization. This role will lead a delivery team focused on building scalable digital platforms using modern web technologies, APIs, and cloud infrastructure (particularly Azure).

Description

• Lead the full lifecycle of digital platform delivery. From concept and design to deployment and ongoing support ensuring alignment with business goals and technical standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, deliverables, and timelines.
• Manage and mentor both in-house and offshore development teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
• Drive the adoption of full stack development practices using technologies.
• Oversee the integration of cloud solutions, with a strong emphasis on Microsoft Azure.
• Conduct hands-on prototyping and proof-of-concept (PoC) development to validate new AI and digital technologies.
• Partner closely with business stakeholders and IT teams to ensure solutions are aligned with strategic objectives.
• Promote knowledge sharing and technical excellence within the team.

Profile

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in a technical leadership role, ideally with exposure to consultancy environments.
• Strong background in full stack development. Such as Java/ Node.js for backend and React.js for frontend.
• Solid experience with cloud platforms, especially Microsoft Azure.
• Demonstrated success in managing cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
• Hands-on experience with AI technologies and machine learning, including PoC development would be a plus.
• Excellent project management and stakeholder communication skills.
• Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving capabilities.

Job Offer

• A competitive salary package estimated between HKD 780000 and HKD 864000 annually.
