Description
As a Head of Safety, Health and Environment, your main responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing safety, health, and environmental policies across all construction projects.
- Ensuring compliance with local and international safety regulations and standards.
- Conducting regular site inspections and audits to identify potential risks and areas for improvement.
- Leading training sessions and workshops to promote awareness and best practices among staff and contractors.
- Collaborating with project teams to integrate safety measures into project plans and schedules.
- Preparing detailed reports on safety performance and presenting findings to senior management.
- Responding promptly to incidents and overseeing thorough investigations to prevent recurrence.
- Driving continuous improvement in safety, health, and environmental performance across the organization.
Profile
- A relevant degree in safety management, engineering, or a related field.
- 15+ yrs of experience in managing safety and environmental initiatives within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of local safety regulations and standards.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to influence and guide multidisciplinary teams.
- Proficiency in preparing detailed reports and presenting insights to stakeholders.
- A proactive approach to identifying risks and implementing effective solutions.
