Fund Operation and Administration Officer - Asset Management

Responsibilities

• Handle fund operations, such as daily cash and position reconciliation, trade checking, resolve settlement discrepancies, NAV  preparation and review, and audit coordination
• Process account opening, investor subscriptions and redemptions, and KYC
• Liaise with third parties such as fund administrator, auditors, lawyers, brokers and other service providers
• Perform general office administrative duties as needed, such as ordering of office supplies, preparation of payment vouchers, maintenance of records and documents, oversight of office maintenance, etc
• Assist manager with compliance matters and regulatory reporting, provide administration support to fund managers and the department
• Participate in other ad-hoc projects and duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor degree or above in accounting or finance
• Fresh graduates with strong knowledge in finance and accounting is welcomed. 1-2 years of relevant experience in administration / operations / accounting within the financial services industry is highly preferred. 
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, VBA and macro is an advantage
• Possession of SFC Type 4 and 9 licenses is an advantage
• Detail-oriented, able to multi-task, and strong problem-solving skills
• Flexible and willing to back up trading function if necessary
• Strong command of both spoken and written Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) and English
• HK permanent resident is a plus
