Finance Operations Analyst

Overview: Our client, a leading player in the insurance sector, is looking for a meticulous and proactive Finance Operations Analyst to join their team. This role supports daily finance operations and ensures the accuracy and integrity of financial data and processes during business-as-usual and system enhancement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the smooth running of daily financial operations

• Prepare and reconcile monthly accounting entries and balances

• Oversee accounts receivable and payable processing

• Verify and review staff reimbursements and payment transactions

• Conduct general ledger reconciliations and support financial audits

• Participate in system user testing for finance-related system changes

Qualifications & Skills:

• 2-3 years of accounting experience, ideally with a year in the life insurance industry

• Membership or student affiliation with a professional accounting body (e.g., CPA)

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel

• Familiarity with PeopleSoft and Concur is preferred

• Exceptional attention to detail and a proactive work ethic
