Event Manager (Conglomerate)

Our client is looking for a high calibre to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the Event Team from initial concept through to execution, covering corporate events, conferences, and social gatherings.
• Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to define event objectives and requirements, providing professional and practical recommendations to enhance outcomes.
• Oversee event budgets, negotiate vendor contracts, and monitor processes closely.
• Manage on-site event operations, ensuring all elements run smoothly.
• Assess the success of events and deliver post-event evaluations and feedback.
• Effectively handle crisis situations and adhere to the Groups protocols.
• Be prepared to work on holidays or overtime as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
• A minimum of 10 years of substantial experience in corporate communications, marketing, event management, or related areas.
• Strong background in event management and stakeholder engagement.
• Proficiency in both English and Chinese.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Proactive, creative, and independent; a good team player who can multitask and thrive under tight deadlines.
