Assistant Manager (Software Asset Management)

Are you a seasoned professional with a knack for optimizing software investments and driving cost efficiency?

This is a dynamic role focused on managing software budgets, tracking usage, and supporting license compliance across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and analyze software usage to ensure cost-effective utilization.
• Collaborate with the Digital Team to develop and manage software budgets.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and propose software optimization strategies.
• Maintain accurate software license records, contracts, and renewal schedules.
• Support contract negotiations to secure favorable licensing terms.
• Provide expert advice on software asset management best practices.
• Deliver detailed reports on usage, budget tracking, and optimization efforts to senior leadership.

What Were Looking For:

• Bachelors degree in IT, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Digital Commercial, Digital Finance, or Software Asset Management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in SAM tools and data management systems.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Experience managing Oracle licenses is a strong advantage.

Nice to have:

• Certified in Software Asset Management (e.g., CSAM, ITIL).
• Background in financial analysis and budget oversight.
• Familiarity with software licensing agreements and compliance protocols.
