  • Gather and synthesize information from diverse sources, including sales data, inventory reports, security systems (CCTV, alarms), exception reporting, open-source intelligence (OSINT), and internal investigations to detect unusual patterns, trends, and anomalies related to loss.
  • Proactively identify emerging threats, organized retail crime (ORC) activities, and sophisticated fraud schemes that could impact the business.
  • Develop and present clear, concise, and actionable intelligence reports, dashboards, and briefings for various stakeholders, including leadership, operations, and investigative teams.
  • Provide critical analytical support to ongoing investigations by building comprehensive intelligence profiles, mapping criminal networks, and identifying persons of interest.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to recommend and implement data-driven strategies and process improvements to reduce shrinkage, enhance security measures, and prevent future losses.
  • Utilize and optimize various asset protection technologies and data analytics tools to enhance intelligence gathering and analysis capabilities.
  • Stay informed on industry best practices, evolving security threats, and relevant legal and regulatory changes to ensure continuous improvement in asset protection strategies.

  • Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in asset protection, loss prevention, intelligence analysis, or a related analytical field, preferably within a fast-paced retail or consumer goods environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in leveraging internal retail loss prevention systems and procedures (e.g., POS exception reporting, inventory management data).
  • Strong analytical skills with the proven ability to collect, interpret, and present complex data to identify actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate findings effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • High level of integrity, discretion, and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a dynamic, evolving environment.
