My client, a virtual bank, is hiring a Senior Asset & Liability Manager.
Description
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor daily balance sheet movements and provide timely analysis.
- Prepare and maintain the ALCO presentation deck to support committee decisions, including minute-taking for ALCO meetings.
- Deliver capital-related reports, including daily monitoring, forecasting, and quarterly HKMA returns.
- Participate in enterprise-wide stress testing exercises and the development of recovery plans; manage materials for Committee and Board approvals.
- Coordinate the implementation of ICAAP and related stress testing frameworks.
- Assist in compiling the annual budget and financial forecasts, with a focus on balance sheet structure, Capital Adequacy Ratios (CAR), and capital planning.
- Support the development and automation of the Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) process.
- Handle ad hoc reporting tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Profile
Experience and Education
- Minimum of 8 years experience in Asset & Liability Management within the financial services sector
- CPA qualification and a relevant degree (e.g. Finance, Accounting, or Economics) strongly preferred
- Exposure to Enterprise-wide Stress Testing exercises is desirable
- Highly detail-oriented, with strong analytical and time management skills
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively, with strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Solid understanding of financial reporting systems and standards, including IFRS 9, is an advantage
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Chinese
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; familiarity with accounting software systems is a plus
