ML4Good are looking for teachers with a grounding in technical AI safety and/or governance & strategy to teach at one or many of our bootcamps. You'll work in a team of three to four other teachers, led by an experienced headteacher. You'll teach classes, support participants through technical and/or governance sessions and exercises, run discussion groups, and support the smooth running of a bootcamp.
The Initial Contract IncludesThis is a part‑time, flexible role during the pre‑camp period, followed by full‑time attendance at the bootcamp.
Exceptional teachers who show excellent organisational and leadership abilities will also get the opportunity to progress to co‑headteacher and headteacher roles for future bootcamps.

ResponsibilitiesInstruction and facilitation at bootcampThe 第一頁 bootcamps were part of field‑building research by EffiSciences, who concluded that ML4Good was the most effective field‑building activity out of the many things they tried. Our alumni have gone on to work in the European AI Office, the French Centre for AI Safety (CeSIA), the Observatorio de Riesgos Catastróficos Globales (ORCG), Future of Life Institute, and SaferAI, among many others. Many have also gone on to participate in further programmes such as MATS and Pivotal.
Our goal is to transform participants' motivation into insights and concrete steps in 8 days. For example, during ML4Good 巴西, we created and reactivated 4 different AI Safety field‑building groups in Latin America: Argentina, Colombia, AI Safety 巴西 and ImpactRio, and ImpactUSP (University of Sao Paulo). Participants leave the bootcamp with a plan on how to use their unique skills to contribute to AI Safety.
We're proud to say we receive great feedback. Participants consistently rate us above 9/10 for recommending this bootcamp. And, without exaggeration, multiple participants have told us that ML4Good was the best experience of their life.
The BootcampML4Good bootcamps are 8‑day in‑person intensive programmes aiming to upskill participants in the AI Safety landscape, to cover the latest developments, and to develop an understanding of AI governance and strategic topics. We help participants to find where their unique skillset can best contribute. Each day features a diverse set of activities such as technical coursework, presentations, group discussions, projects, and social activities in the evenings.
Our teachers overwhelmingly enjoy our bootcamps - many of them see it as a fun break from their usual routine where they have the opportunity to share their knowledge and help others in their AI Safety journey.
