Supported by our in‑house logistics team, we operate a full‑service, multi‑temperature warehouse and logistics network that guarantees excellence in local distribution. Role Summary Overall leadership and full responsibility for procurement strategy, supplier management and sourcing performance of the Fruit & Vegetable team. Strategic role with accountability for product availability, cost competitiveness, quality standards and margin optimisation. Drive the sourcing and supply strategy for fresh produce to support business growth and market expansion. Lead a team of 8-10 professionals across buying, merchandising and related support functions. Report directly to the CEO and act as the key business partner on all procurement and supply‑side decisions. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement procurement and sourcing strategies for the fruit and vegetable category in 香港. Plan and manage annual buying budgets, cost targets and margin objectives to support 公司名稱 profitability. Build, manage and optimise supplier networks across the US, 澳洲, Europe, Mainland China and other key sourcing regions. Identify, evaluate and onboard new suppliers and sourcing channels (especially in China) to enhance assortment, quality and cost efficiency. Negotiate prices, terms, service levels and long‑term agreements with suppliers to secure stable and competitive supply. Work closely with the sales and key account teams to align purchasing plans with customer demand forecasts and promotional calendars. Oversee inventory levels, ordering cycles and inbound logistics in collaboration with the in‑house logistics and warehouse teams. Ensure all products meet food safety, quality, compliance and documentation requirements. Monitor global market trends, crop conditions, currency and freight developments to proactively adjust sourcing strategies. Lead, coach and develop the procurement team, fostering a culture of cost awareness, accountability and continuous improvement. Ideal Candidates Extensive experience in fresh produce / fruit and vegetable buying, import and distribution. Strong network with growers, exporters, importers and trading partners in 香港, Mainland China and overseas. Proven track record in sourcing from the US, 澳洲, Europe and China, including vendor selection and negotiation. Solid understanding of China‑based sourcing, 香港 wholesale markets and seasonality of fresh produce. Experience working with major 香港 supermarket chains, leading foodservice companies or related is highly advantageous. Good command of Cantonese, Mandarin and English (spoken and written). Strong commercial acumen with excellent negotiation, vendor management and analytical skills. Inspirational and hands‑on leader, capable of building and motivating a high‑performing procurement team.
