About the role:

This is a remote, one-month contract requiring 25-30 hours in total. You will be responsible for a targeted optimisation of 4–5 key page templates. We are looking for an Website UX/UI Designer to audit and refine a Shopify storefront. We need a critical thinker who can take a strategic brief, evaluate the proposed path, and implement high-impact UX and layout changes within an existing Shopify framework.

What you will be doing

• Layout Restructure: Redesign the 首頁 layout based on provided data and competitive reviews to improve information hierarchy and reduce bounce rates.
• Conversion UX: Optimise Product Page layouts to reduce cognitive load, focusing on making the mobile checkout journey faster and more intuitive.
• Messaging & CTA Optimisation: Evaluate and update micro-copy (CTAs, headers, value props) to reduce cognitive load and drive clear user action.
• Site Integrity: Audit and clean up internal link logic and manage the removal or redirection of redundant pages to ensure a seamless professional experience.
• Strategic Evaluation: Critically assess our existing optimisation plan. We value specialists who evaluate whether the proposed strategy is the most effective way to reach the client's goals and suggest better alternatives if they exist.

What we’re looking for

• 3–5 years of experience in E-commerce UX and Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO).
• Strategic Thinker: You can back up every design or copy change with a psychological or data-driven reason.
• Shopify Proficiency: You are an expert at utilising existing Shopify themes and sections to achieve high-end results without relying on too much Liquid or CSS.
• Analytical Mindset: You can translate GA4 data or user behavior insights into tangible layout improvements.
• Commercial Maturity: You understand how information hierarchy impacts bounce rates and how to move a customer from browsing to buying with minimal friction.
• Strong command of English; Chinese proficiency is a plus.

Bonus points

• Experience with SEO-friendly site architecture.
• Previous experience in a boutique agency environment.
